Hiro Murano directed an entire episode of Legion, but fans of the series still remember Aubrey Plaza's frenetic dancing.
Hiro Murai doesn't have a single feature film, but there is a short film called "Applauding for the Wrong Reasons." Glover wrote the script and invited his friend to direct. This is a kind of prologue to the Childish Gambino album, which is completely devoid of plot, but firmly captures the depressive mood of the record. For the previous Queens Of The Stone Age album, they shot only animated clips that were plot-related to each other. Murano changed this tradition and filmed lead singer Josh Homme with a group of Asians who drink, snort cocaine and detach themselves from reality in such a way that everything ends sadly for one of them. But even in the sad notes, Hiro finds some humor.
Do You
The fear of fatherhood is a burning topic for filmmakers. Let's just recall the "Eraser Head" by David Lynch. Murano takes this fear to its absolute, enlarging the babies to the size of a skyscraper and forcing lead singer Britt Daniel to ride a car between them. The result gives the impression of a Kaizu movie. Add a melancholic audio sequence here, and you'll definitely watch this work when you go to the hospital.

Of course, this video made Chet Faker so popular that he had to change his pseudonym. It would seem to be an asphalt road with girls on roller skates, but Murano makes every frame very hypnotic, and in the end throws catharsis on the viewer, which can rival the finale of Christopher Nolan's "Remember."

Usually Flying Lotus shoots its own music videos. And for a story about two children who were resurrected and started dancing, I decided to use Murai's services.
